The Center is next to the busiest main road of the city currently benefits from two anchor tenants TESCO hypermarket and an OBI DIY Store with the addition Strip Mall adjoining area leased to the likes of DM and Deichmann stores .The TARGET Center obtained its occupancy permit and opened in November 2008 and extends to approximately 24.000sq meter and benefits from roughly 800 onsite parking spaces.The Stripp Mall element has an area of approximately 5800 sq meter while the two achor tenants have a combined area of approximately 18,200sq meters.

Site Location

The town is situated in between the Rivers Danube and Tisza, between Budapest and Szeged, in the cross of the East-Western and North-Southern main traffic roads. The eight biggest city of Hungary is considered to be one of the most interesting example of the Hungarian town-development history. It is in easy reach from any part of the country, lays apr. in a distance of 45 minutes from Budapest on Highway.

Its economical-regional role in the life of the area and the country is gradually strengthened by the Highway M5, that connects Kecskemét into the European road-net system.

Economic Profile

German carmaker Mercedes-Benz built a plant in Kecskemét to manufacture the new Mercedes-Benz A-B-Class. The plant was opened on March 29, 2012. The Stuttgart-based company invested €800 million (US$1.24 billion) to build the new plant, which is expected to create 2,500 new jobs in the region. According to the plans, more than 100,000 vehicles will be produced annual at the factory.Mercedes Benz announced will double the manufacturing facility size in 2016 to accomondate the new models production.
